April 19th 10.00-12.30

Join Amanda Tuke to write creatively about urban nature in either prose or poetry.

Inspired by a short urban nature walk with Amanda and Creekside's own Nick Bertrand, we'll be writing on the theme of the workshop "Everywhere we look - noticing urban nature". The workshop will be relaxed and supportive and no previous creative writing experience is needed. Bring a notepad and pen/pencil and/or a smartphone with a note-taking or audio-recording apps.

Amanda Tuke is a nature writer, botanist and birder based in south London. She writes a monthly column for Bird Watching Magazine and has written for the RSPB, BBC Countryfile and Resurgence & Ecologist magazines. Amanda is an associate lecturer in creative nature writing at Bath Spa University.
