Low Tide Walk 21st Anniversary – 31st May – 2 spaces left!
18:30 pm - 20:00 pm Twenty one years ago to this day, the first low tide walk took place in Deptford Creek. To celebrate 21 years of wading through the river, we are having a celebratory evening low tide walk. Led by our conservationist with 30 years’ experience, we guarantee you some good, clean, muddy fun! Discover the history and wildlife of Deptford Creek, whilst enjoying a unique perspective on this urban river. After the walk, join us for a celebratory glass of Pimms. The evening walk will begin at 6:30pm. We ask all walkers to arrive 10 minutes before the start. Please note this event is for adults and accompanied children age 9+. Participants need to be reasonably fit as you will be walking on the bed of a wild river. We provide waders, a waterproof and a walking stick and suggest you wear old clothes.
