Following the success of last year's 40th Anniversary Fete, we are excited to invite you to celebrate another year at Sue Godfrey Nature Park.

Join us for a day of celebration and discovery in nature. We're bringing back all the favourite activities, ensuring fun for all ages. Plus, the wader-wanging contest is back by popular demand—come test your skills. Mark your calendars and invite your friends and family for a memorable day. We can't wait to see you there!

This FREE, family-friendly event is packed with activities for everyone: 

• Wild Plant Discovery – learn the names of our local flora and how to spot them 
• Knot-Tying Workshop – bone up on your knot skills, applicable in all walks of life 
• Wader Wanging – how far can you launch a Creekside wader?! 
• Arts & Crafts – unleash your creativity with a variety of our arts and crafts activities for all ages

• Wildflower Guided Walks - 11:30am & 1.30pm
• Knot-tying - 11:30am - 12:30pm
• Wader Wanging Competition - 12:30pm
• Arts & Crafts Activities - Drop in all day
• Explore our new Sue Godfrey family trail activity - Drop in all day
• Bug hunt and insect identification fun - Drop in all day

We are also excited to announce a raffle with amazing prizes, including low tide walk tickets, vouchers, mugs, books, and cards.

The event also provides a great opportunity for visitors to see our new habitat and access improvements to the park, thanks to support from the Mayor of London, Lewisham Council and a generous local donor.
