October Half Term - River Dipping (5+) - Wednesday 29th October 2025

Family activity - 29th October, 10.30-12.30

Our series of holiday activities for families and young people! This week we will put our waders on and dip our toes in Deptford Creek to see what lives there! 

Activities:

• View from the bridge - visit our brand new CreekLink signage!
• River dipping down in the river
• Craft your own 'binoculars'
• Bird watching - walk next door with us to see another cool new sign and see if we can spot some birds of the Creek!

This activity is suitable for ages 5+ only. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. As Deptford Creek is a risky environment we would ask that there are no more than 2 children per adult for this activity. 

This event is a collaboration with CreekLink, a project which aims to install information points along Deptford Creek to highlight the significance of this amazing waterway.
