NEW! The Secret Life of Lawns - Saturday 21st February 2026
Saturday 21st February | 14:00 - 15:30
Lawns are everywhere, yet few people realise they are among the most diverse habitats in inner London.
Despite this, lawns are often undervalued and appreciated mainly for how they look, rather than for the wildlife they support. In recent decades, lawns have become more diverse, influenced by climate change and improvements in air quality and pollution levels.
Join us for the first in a new series of guided walks exploring the wildlife found in lawns, as these overlooked habitats begin to prepare for spring.
📍 Meet at New Cross Station (Amersham Vale entrance)
