Did you know that bats live alongside us, right here in the heart of Deptford? Join Creekside Discovery Centre and experts from Bat Conservation Trust for a fun-filled evening of bat watching. We will start with a short fact-packed talk all about London’s bats, before spending an hour over sunset watching and listening for local wildlife. Bat detectors will be available to eavesdrop on the ultrasonic calls of Deptford Creek’s most elusive creatures.

  • Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult at all times
  • The ground can be uneven, so please wear suitable footwear and dress for the evening weather
  • Consider bringing a small torch if you have one
  • All equipment will be provided by Bat Conservation Trust
