Join us for Creekside Art Week Wildflower Day. Explore the wildflowers around Creekside and create beautiful pressed flowers to be displayed at Sunday's exhibition.

11.00-13.00 Discover Your Wilderhood

Join us on the hunt for wildflowers in the wilderhood of Creekside. Even in hard urban environments like streets, footways, walls, and the small fragments of habitat adjacent to them, wildlife makes a living.

Wear comfy shoes and clothing you don't mind rambling in.

Children must be 10+ years and accompanied by an adult.

13.00-14.00 Picnic

Bring your own picnic to enjoy in the Creekside grounds.

14.00-15.00 Wildflower Pressing

Discover the beauty and diversity of our local wildflowers in this hands on workshop. You will learn how to collect and press flowers and make your own pressed flower cards & artwork. 

All equipment provided

Children must be 5+ years and accompanied by an adult

18.00-20.00 Wildflower Pop Up

As spring evenings warm up we have the perfect escape for you here at the Discovery Centre. Our Wildflower pop up lets you explore the incredible urban wildflower site we have right on your doorstep.

Wear comfy shoes and clothing you don't mind rambling in.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
