In collaboration with Climate Fresk's volunteers, we will run an environmental workshop at Creekside Discovery Centre. We are inviting people to join us! Join us for a dynamic and engaging event that uses a collaborative game to deepen your understanding of climate crisis. Over three hours, you will connect cause-and-effect cards, creatively work on a climate fresco, and discuss actionable solutions. This workshop is ideal for individuals of all backgrounds, including children aged 15 and older. It aims to foster awareness and inspire collective action. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with your community, broaden your perspective, and make a positive impact on our planet! Climate Fresk Workshop FAQ: Would you like me to attend the whole workshop? We want to ask you to attend the entire session to get the full benefit and experience of the Climate Fresk workshop. The workshop is structured in phases that build on each other, so your participation from start to finish is essential. Who is the workshop aimed at? While the Climate Fresk workshop is designed with adults in mind, it is also suitable for older children and teenagers (we recommend those aged 15+). Do I need prior knowledge of climate issues? You don't need any prior knowledge! The Climate Fresk workshop is designed to be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background in climate issues. You’ll learn everything you need to know through the interactive activities and discussions. Is it fun? Absolutely! The Climate Fresk workshop is not only educational but also interactive and creative. Past participants have said the workshop's hands-on activities and collaborative nature are both enjoyable and inspiring. What is a fresk? A "fresk" (or "fresco") in the context of this workshop refers to a large visual representation created collaboratively by participants. Using 42 cards that depict various aspects of climate change, you will piece together a comprehensive and illustrative fresco that explains the causes, consequences, and solutions to climate crisis as outlined by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). THE WORKSHOP'S PROGRAMME 🔹 The introduction to learn a bit about "Climate Fresk" history 🔹 The reconstruction of the Fresk, guided by your facilitator 🔹 The creative phase, to relax and get to grips with your Fresk 🔹 The debrief is to share your feelings, exchange emotions, express thoughts and draw individual and collective solutions. ⚠️ Please take your ticket only if you are sure that you can make it! ⚠️Spaces are limited.
