Wildflowers in Winter - Saturday 22nd February 2025

Join Nick for a guided walk around Deptford this month to explore the awakening world of wildflowers.

We'll look for Early Meadow-grass, Whitlow Grass, Sweet Violets, Lesser Celandines and other early harbingers of spring. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the subtle changes in the landscape and find out about the diversity of wild plants that live around us. Don't miss out on this chance to connect with nature and see the first signs of spring!

Whether you are an expert or a complete beginner, this will be a chance to get outdoors and explore the wildlife on your doorstep. 

What to expect:

- help with identifying plants visually

By joining local nature walks, you will better understand seasonal cycles and improve your ID skills.

- comfortable shoewear

- warm clothes
