Green Design

The Centre demonstrates and advocates sustainable riverside urban development. As part of this aim CET promotes the following types of new environmental design:

  • Living eco habitat roofs
  • River wall habitat enhancements
  • Urban wasteland habitats
  • Water re-cycling

The Creekside Project has been pioneering the use of living roofs based on local post-industrial habitats. We can show you examples of local landscaping that include these ideas. We can also explain how the needs of nature have been incorporated into the redevelopment and planning of Creekside.
